Insurance Information

How does orthodontic insurance work?

There are many different agreements between insurance carriers and their subscribers and each contract provides for a specific benefit amount. Orthodontic insurance generally differs from regular dental insurance in that each individual has a lifetime maximum allowable benefit. Typically, this benefit is paid as a certain percentage of the orthodontic fee until the maximum benefit has been paid.

Does our office assist you with insurance matters?

Yes, we are happy to handle your insurance needs so you do not have to. As a courtesy, we will gladly contact your insurance company to determine the benefits that are available, as well as, file claims on your behalf. We will help you in any way we can to take advantage of your insurance benefit, however, please be aware that if your orthodontic benefits change during treatment, it is the obligation of the financially responsible party to pay for all charges.

Please contact our Financial/Insurance Coordinator, Bobbie, for further details. She can be reached at 206.824.8290.
