Dr. Peyton is a Certified Invisalign™ Provider. Invisalign is a popular alternative to braces that is virtually invisible when being worn. Invisalign uses a series of clear, removable, and comfortable aligners to straighten teeth without attaching orthodontic brackets or wires to the teeth. The aligners are made with 3-D computer imaging technology that follows the treatment prescribed by the orthodontist.

Not only are the aligners invisible, they are removable, unlike traditional braces. This means you can eat and drink whatever you want during treatment, plus brushing and flossing aren't a problem. The aligners are also comfortable, with no brackets or wires to cause abrasions, and you spend less time in the office for adjustments.

Each set of aligners should be worn for 2 weeks, taking them out only to eat, drink, brush, and floss. As you move from one aligner to the next, your teeth will move little by little, week by week until they have reached their final position. We see Invisalign patients every 6 weeks to ensure your treatment is progressing as planned. The treatment time will vary depending on the individual patient.
